Innovation Award 2023 ceremony

BATCHPUR GmbH & Co. KG wins the special prize from Chemiepark Bitterfeld-Wolfen GmbH and Unite Services GmbH CO. KG of the Reiner Lemoine Innovation Award Anhalt-Bitterfeld 2023 for the innovation: Sensor-based control for small wastewater treatment plants with extended treatment stages. 

At the heart of this development is a new sensor-based control system that controls a small wastewater treatment plant in order to treat domestic wastewater directly on site and make it available for recycling. In addition to the elimination of trace substances such as pharmaceuticals, germs contained in the wastewater are also irreversibly inactivated by losing their ability to multiply. After treatment, the water can then be used as process water, for example for watering the garden or for household use (e.g. washing machine). 

The joint special prize of Chemiepark Bitterfeld-Wolfen GmbH and Unite Services GmbH CO. KG in the amount of € 2,000 was presented at a ceremony on 13 September 2023.
